Questions We Get Asked

Straight answers, including the unflattering ones

If something here is unclear, call and ask — the answer will be the same on the phone.

What does Strong Foundation Financial actually do?

We help individuals organize their financial information, understand the general options available to them, and put a written structure around the months ahead. The work is informational and organizational.

Are you financial advisors or attorneys?

No. Strong Foundation Financial LLC is not a licensed financial advisor, financial consultant, or legal advisor, and nothing on this site is advice. Where a licensed professional is the right answer, we will say so.

Who do you work with?

Individuals and households only. Everything we do is built around one person’s circumstances at a time, and we do not take on any other kind of client.

Will you promise a particular result?

No. We do not promise savings, approvals, or any specific outcome. What we can describe is what a given option generally involves and what it would ask of you.

What happens on the first call?

A short conversation about what prompted you to look into this and what you already have on hand. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to bring.

How long does the process take?

It depends entirely on how much needs gathering and how quickly you want to move. Some people finish the review in a week; others take a couple of months. We do not set the clock.

What information will I need to provide?

Generally current statements, balances, and any recent correspondence. We will tell you exactly what is useful before you spend time collecting anything.

What if I decide not to continue?

Then you stop. There is no penalty for stepping away, and you keep whatever written summary we have produced to that point.
